The Educational Service of the Jewish Museum of Lisbon aims to be a space for intercultural dialogue and respect for difference, through a varied and interdisciplinary educational programme.
We intend to reach the most varied publics, but with a special focus on the younger generations and contributing to the enrichment of the school learning process. Thus, we will make known the millenary history of the Jewish presence in Portugal and in the world, its diversity and cultural heritage, raising awareness of ethnic and religious tolerance.
It will be a dynamic space where we privilege sharing, reflection, learning and creativity, a place of discovery where we exchange experiences, play, and relax, dedicated essentially to families and schools. It will offer a wide range of cultural activities, such as guided tours, workshops, ateliers, theatre, music or dance performances, lectures and seminars, and storytelling sessions, among others.
