Lisbon, one of Europe’s oldest and most vibrant capital cities, will soon have a museum dedicated to Portugal’s important Jewish legacy for the first time.

Every contribution, whether individual or corporate, is important for successfully implementing the future Museum. In this initial phase, the funds raised will be mainly allocated to the project and construction of the building designed by the architect Daniel Libeskind. They will also be applied to the continuous enrichment of the collection that will constitute the long-term exhibition and to the training of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the valuable mission to revive the memory of almost 2,000 years of Jewish history in what is now known as Portugal.

By making a donation, you will be contributing to the creation of a unique museum dedicated to fostering knowledge of the thousand-year-long history of Portuguese Judaism both in Portugal and elsewhere.
