Support us and be a part of our story
Lisbon, one of the oldest and most vibrant capital cities in Europe, will soon have a museum dedicated to Portugal’s important Jewish legacy for the first time.
The future Jewish Museum Lisbon is a partnership between Lisbon Council (CML) and Associação Hagadá, a private nonprofit organisation whose aim is to promote its creation, construction, installation and management.
Any contribution, whether individual or corporate, is very important for the successful implementation of the future Museum. In this initial phase, all funds raised will be allocated above all to the project and construction of the building designed by the architect Daniel Libeskind. They will also go towards the continued enrichment of the collection that will form the permanent exhibition and to the training of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the valuable mission to revive the memory of almost 2,000 years of Jewish history, in what is now known as Portugal.
